Position:                                Jr. QHSE Engineer

Base Location:                    The Campus, Yangon

Report to:                              Sr. QHSE Engineer

Job Profile:

• Ensure timely arrangement of PPE requirements for YMP employees and maintain accurate records
• Assist the Senior QHSE engineer in delivering QHSE-related training for both YMP employees and contractors
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance and QHSE activities
• Conduct on-site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
• Review daily log sheet, toolbox meetings and HSE checklists submitted by the installation teams
• Prepare Site/Partner/Engineer Quality Index Checklist based on the completion status of each site
• Coordinate with relevant government departments to secure the Electrical Hazard Safety Certificate (EHSC).
• Collect monthly quality checklists from O&M team and follow up on corrective actions for necessary rectifications
• Track and record monthly activities related to E&S, CSR, health and safety
• Investigate Theft/Loss/Damage and any Incidents/Accidents, preparing detailed reports on findings
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Specification

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations; QHSE certification is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical components/materials, such as solar panels, inverters, and batteries
