Base Location : The Campus, Yangon
Reporting to : Assistant Finance and Accounting Manager
Job Profile
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Monitor collections and follow up directly with customers on overdue balances.
- Maintain and update AR aging schedules.
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Record supplier invoices and arrange timely payments.
- Verify supporting documentation and approvals.
- Perform AP aging analysis and monthly vendor reconciliations.
- Inventory Management
- Record and reconcile stock balances in the accounting system.
- Conduct or coordinate inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation.
- Fixed Asset Management
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Record acquisitions, disposals, and calculate depreciation.
- Operating Expenses & Cost Allocation
- Track all Opex transactions and ensure budget compliance.
- Prepare cost center reports and perform cost allocations manually.
- Cash Flow Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor bank balances and identify funding needs.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze variances and propose corrective actions.
- Invoicing & Month-End Closing
- Issue sales invoices and ensure accuracy.
- Perform all month-end tasks, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Audit & Compliance
- Prepare all audit schedules and support documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Work directly with other teams to collect financial data.
- Communicate with management regarding financial results and issues.
Job Specification
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a senior capacity.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/IAS or local GAAP.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in business English, both written and spoken.
- Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
