Reporting to: Senior Design & Implementation Manager
Job Profile
- Conduct site surveys and collect technical data for solar, telecom, and rural electrification projects.
- Prepare AutoCAD 2D and 3D Layout, SLD, Detailed Design drawings.
- Develop 3D models and visual presentations using SketchUp.
- Site Visit, Site survey, Data collection, Analyze survey data and prepare design inputs for Site design and implementation.
- Solar system sizing and preliminary design calculations.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), material lists, and drawing revisions.
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and clients.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and drawing records using MS Office.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Support telecom tower solarization and C&I rooftop projects.
- Assist in rural and off-grid solar project planning and implementation
Job Specification
Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 years of experience in solar, telecom, and infrastructure projects design.
Desirable Personal Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D
- Experience with SketchUp modeling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of solar PV systems and telecom infrastructure
- Ability to conduct site surveys and technical data collection
- Knowledge of electrical layouts, cable schedules, and SLDs
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
