Role
- Lead and grow Yoma Micro Power’s C&I energy solutions business in Myanmar.
- Drive origination, development, and closure of high-value solar, hybrid, battery storage, and power-as-a-service opportunities.
- Target large commercial, industrial, institutional, and strategic customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. C&I Sales Origination and Pipeline Development
- Identify and develop new C&I opportunities across key sectors.
- Build a qualified pipeline across solar PV, hybrid power, battery storage, energy efficiency, and long-term PPAs.
- Map decision-makers and create sector-specific account plans for priority customers.
2. High-Value Deal Execution
- Lead the full sales cycle from qualification to contract signing and handover.
- Work with engineering, finance, legal, and operations to prepare strong proposals and customer presentations.
- Ensure solutions are commercially sound, technically feasible, and aligned with YMP return expectations.
3. Strategic Customer Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and owners of major C&I customers.
- Understand customer pain points such as energy cost, reliability, diesel dependence, sustainability goals, and capex constraints.
- Drive repeat business, referrals, and expansion opportunities while maintaining a professional market presence.
4. Commercial Strategy and Market Development
- Support C&I sales strategy, including target segments, pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market priorities.
- Provide market intelligence on demand, competition, financing constraints, and regulation.
- Contribute to management reporting on pipeline, conversion, forecasts, and strategic opportunities.
5. Internal Coordination and Deal Governance
- Coordinate with engineering on site assessments, sizing, yield estimates, and solution design.
- Ensure opportunities follow internal approval, risk, and commercial governance processes.
- Support smooth handover of signed deals to project execution teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, finance, or a related field; MBA or technical degree is an advantage.
- 8–12 years of B2B sales, business development, or key account management experience, ideally in energy, infrastructure, telecom, industrial equipment, real estate, construction, financial services, or similar high-value solution sales.
- Proven ability to close transactions above MMK 1 billion and sell complex solutions involving technical, financial, legal, and operational considerations.
- Experience engaging senior executives and managing long-cycle consultative sales.
- Renewable energy, storage, utilities, or infrastructure experience is preferred but not essential.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong commercial judgment and understanding of customer economics.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
- Able to explain technical and financial concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills, professionalism, persistence, and ability to manage multiple large opportunities.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and fluent in Myanmar and English.

- Senior, commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record in selling high-value solutions to large businesses.
- Able to engage owners, CEOs, and CFOs, understand customer pain points, build trust, and close complex deals.
- Comfortable selling both immediate cost savings and long-term energy reliability while positioning YMP as a credible partner.
Key Performance Indicators
- Annual contracted C&I sales value and number of signed contracts.
- Pipeline value, conversion rate, and sales forecast quality.
- Gross margin, proposal quality, customer relationship depth, and successful handover to execution teams.
Compensation
- Competitive fixed salary plus performance-based incentive linked to contracts signed, capacity, revenue, margin, and quality of execution. Package depends on experience and track record.
