Job title: Senior Accountant
Report to: Finance and Accounting Manager
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Accounts Payable & Treasury
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests.
- Issue debit notes and credit notes.
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare cash flow, AP, and AR projection reports.
- Maintain accurate cash and banking records.
Fixed Assets & Inventory
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
- Record asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and monthly depreciation.
- Reconcile fixed assets with the general ledger.
- Reconcile inventory transactions and coordinate with Warehouse and Operations to resolve discrepancies.
Compliance & Audit
- Maintain complete accounting records and supporting documents.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with tax schedules and statutory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate accounting data in the ERP system.
- Analyze accounting data and resolve discrepancies.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements.
Coordination & Team Support
- Coordinate with internal departments, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders on accounting matters.
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.
- Perform other duties assigned by Finance Manager.
Job Specification
Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, ACCA part I or II is preferable.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Senior Accountant position.
- Strong track record of project experience, data analytics, leadership and financial skills

- Proficient in accounting software, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Power-point and advance MS Excel skill
