Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Manager to join our team. This role combines the strategic oversight of the Program Management Office (PMO) with hands-on Project Management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within cost, within scope, and aligned with our organizational goals.
Job Description
- PMO Leadership:
- Establish and maintain project management methodologies, processes, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on project performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
- Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes to achieve project objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within project teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Performance Metrics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project delivery. Ensuring the learnings have been implemented in future projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on results.
- Team Development:
- Mentor and support project/implementation managers and team members in project management practices and tools.
- Promote professional development opportunities within the PMO
Job Specification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical Engineering).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a PMO role.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project).
