Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Manager to join our team. This role combines the strategic oversight of the Program Management Office (PMO) with hands-on Project Management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within cost, within scope, and aligned with our organizational goals.

 

Job Description

  1. PMO Leadership:
    • Establish and maintain project management methodologies, processes, standards, and best practices.
    • Monitor and report on project performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
  2. Project Management:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects from initiation to completion.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes to achieve project objectives.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within project teams.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Performance Metrics:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project delivery. Ensuring the learnings have been implemented in future projects.
    • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on results.
  5. Team Development:
    • Mentor and support project/implementation managers and team members in project management practices and tools.
    • Promote professional development opportunities within the PMO

 

Job Specification

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical Engineering).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.

 

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a PMO role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project).
