Assistant Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Description

Base Location:                Yangon
Reporting to:                  Financial Controller

Job Profile

• Manage, direct and control daily processes
• Manage all data collected by finance and accounting department
• Provide adequate support to finance and accounting team
• Oversee major cash outflow of invoices paid out via account payable
• Review for collections of account receivable and deal with customers for collections
• Calculate for over 500 sites leases by utilizing IFRS 16
• Calculate borrowing cost on a monthly basis
• Act as a key contact person for regulatory reporting and prepare period reports timely & accurately
• Prepare Financial Statements to submit to shareholders/investors within a timeline
• Manage for on-time submission of monthly/quarterly/yearly commercial tax, income tax and advance income tax
• Liaise with external auditors for yearly audited report within a timeline
• Lead for inventories count on a quarterly basis
• Develop and implement policies for finance and accounting department
• Verify systems and processes in place and make changes whenever necessary
• Ad-hoc assigned by Management

Job Requirements

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, CPA. ACCA part II is preferable.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in overseeing treasury function with local and international banks
• Strong track record of project experience, data analytics and financial skills
• Demonstrate willingness to develop analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good in English 4 skills, and business email writing
• Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Power-point and advance MS Excel skill
• Must have good attitude, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills
