Reporting to : Assistant Design Manager
Job Profile
- Conduct surveys, prepare feasibility reports, and design solar systems for commercial and industrial customers in Renewable Energy Segment
- Continuously learn and explore innovative approaches to stay updated with the latest technology
- Prepare and share daily, weekly and monthly project reports
- Identify project changes, maintain records, and provide administrative support as needed
- Assess project risks and issues, and provide appropriate design solutions
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Perform DGRH (Diesel Generator Run Hours) tracking, fuel filling tracking and expected solar generation analysis for telecom sites, using HOMER software (monthly)
- Analyze actual vs. estimated fuel filling after receiving combined month-end data (monthly)
- Design right-sizing solutions and calculate voltage drop and cable losses for mini-grid sites
- Conduct energy analysis and design for community sites
- Preform PVsyst, HOMER and Helioscope simulations for new rollouts and existing sites
- Create layout design using AutoCAD for mini-grid and commercial and industrial sites
Job Specification
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field of study.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst, Homer and Helioscope software
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
