Reporting to               : Assistant Procurement & Logistics Manager

 

Job Profile

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain and update the supplier database, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of sourcing activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and pricing issues.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are documented accurately and comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and price lists.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and inventory control to make recommendations for future procurement strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Support the procurement team in various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

 

Job Specification

 Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree

 

Experience Required:

  • Preferably Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience in procurement

 

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
