Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Job Profile
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment, machinery, tools, and related power systems to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and identify whether items are repairable or unrepairable.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of warehouse equipment when required.
- Support the Warehouse Team in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Monitor testing activities in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the respective Engineers and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Team, DG Team, Engineers, and external service providers to resolve major repairs and technical issues.
- Ensure warehouse equipment and work areas comply with company safety requirements, operational standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification activities as required.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and technical materials in a well-organized and accessible manner.
- Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Job Specification
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Intermediate level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), or related fields.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, or technical support.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment or material-handling systems will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and equipment instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
